Photo spots in Jacksonville, Fl

I will be moving to Jacksonville, Florida soon, and I am kinda becoming obsessed with the idea of it. I have been doing some virtual location scouting and here are a few spots that I CANNOT wait to have photoshoots at when I get to JAX! 

Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens

This place is INSANE! I am already SO obsessed with the greenery, the architecture, the location, ALL OF IT! It is stunning. It has such a romantic feel to it and I know that it will soon become a favorite spot of mine when capturing love stories! 

Duval County Clerk’s Office

First off, the Duval County Clerk’s Office. It is a little unsuspecting, but when you really look at it has all the elements of a beautiful photo spot. It is made of a beautiful white stone, it has large columns, it has interesting details in the window frames, there is a large shaded area on the front of the building, and it has beautiful dramatic steps on the front. It really is a photographer’s dream spot! 

The Florida Theatre 

This one is just fun! The Florida Theatre is an old theater that will be such a fun backdrop for a downtown couples session! A little vintage, a little unique- it’ll be a good spot for sure. 

Yacht Basin Park/ Mom’s Park 

This one looks beautiful! Along the same lines as Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, but it has a slightly different feel to it. Still romantic, still dreamy, but in a more moss covered way (if that makes any sense).
